Award-winning international travel writer and photographer, magazine editor - mom, grandma, cat-person - and married to another award-winner, Bruce Kemp (who shot this photo).
I live to travel. If I’m not doing it, I’m reading about it or writing it. I’ve indulged my passion on five continents (missing two A’s – Australia and Antarctica). But no matter where I go - how exotic, how intriguing the places – I still find joy in discovering my own back yard. I was snuggling up to middle age when I was dragged to the Okanagan, kicking and screaming, from my home in Southern Ontario. I arrived on a Saturday. By Tuesday I was born again. I can’t explain it, don’t even try.
